I had issues with BT a while back and managed to get the phone number for BT's high levels complain department. I will try and track down the number and see if I can post it on the forum or have it made as a sticky.

Does anyone have the address of the BT Customer Support.

 I dont want to go through the problems I am experiencing on the phone, its so frustrating talking to somone whos stance is "its your equipment",

I agree to a certain point.

The problem is that the level of English by some of the operatives just isnt good enough. Its very hard to have a technical discussion by phone at the best of times, even harder if they dont have a good command of the language. That might seem a bit harsh but its the reality.

I doubt it is the location that is at fault but the dearth of training they receive.  and the stock answers that you hear are exactly that - read from a script!

Whether in Watford or Wichita, it makes no difference.  It is the standard of service training and knowledge that is the issue.

The frontline technical help for BT broadband is split between India and Watford. There is no number to guarantee getting Watford, 0845 600 7030 gets you whatever technical agent is available next.

If you get India you just have to keep redialling, eventually you will get the Watford control room.

Does anyone have a telephone number for BT so I dont get through to India?

 
As helpful as they are sometimes, I'm having a real problem explaining the problems I am having. You seem to get the same "stock answers" all the time. I work in IT so I'm not totally lost but I just cant get through to them the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
