    Re: Debt collection agency

YES U CAN IF THE COMPANY WILL NOT AKNOWLEDGE THE COMPAINT WITHIN THE TIME SCALE WHICH IS REASONABLE. eg 2 WEEKS TO A MONTH OR ARE NOT RESPONDING AT ALL THEN THE OMBUDSMAN CAN CONTACT THEM ON YOUR BEHALF TO HAVE YHEM RESPOND TO THEM OR U WITHIN A GIVEN TIME SCALE. TALK TO THE OMBUDSMAN AND EXPLAIN THEY WILL PUT THE SQUEEZE ON 3 TO RESPOND.

MAKE SURE ALL LETTERS ARE COPIED AND SENT RECORDER DELIVERY.

    Debt collection agency

My daughter is being persued by a debt collection agency over a telephone bill with 3. She has written to 3 to say that it is in dispute and has asked for a deadlock letter so that we can go to the Ombudsman. THey have dimissed our comments. Our complaint which revolves around the question of whether shae entered into a firther contract after a phone call. My daughter is adamant she did not and made this clear in the phone call. £ say the contract runs to October 2007. Is there any way we can legally get the debt collection agency of her back. We have no argument in paying it if the Ombudsman says it is due.  But if 3 will not gave us the deadlock letter ywe can not go to the Ombudsman for another 2 months.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
