    Re: Dear Prime Minister

Lets face it, if you have MP after your name then monetary matters are not an issue to you unless you can turn it into votes. If Cameron could turn £500,000 of income into 2% votes then he would do so without a blink.

Because insurance premiums are now a worry to the whole country it is now an issue that he has to suddenly appear to be concerned about, it makes no difference to him if his insurance goes up by what ever price....as long as his voters prices don't go up by too much.

erikbloodaxe:Dear Tax Payer, Do you know if the Prime Minister addressed your ( and everyone else's) concerns and what was the outcome?

    Post not addressed to me.

But the issue of high Car Insurance premiums is I expect something that is raised with MP's on a regular basis.

Over a year ago, during Prime Ministers Question time in Parliament, Cameron was asked by a Labour MP about how high Insurance premiums were affecting their constituents. Cameron was very dismissive, saying that Insurance was a very competitive industry and gave the impression that he was not interested.

Fast forward a year, after Jack Straw and others raised the issue, Cameron suddenly wakes making comments about how important it is to look into the matter.. If you are a multi-millionaire, which most of the current cabinet are, then paying a few thousand for your childrens Insurance is probably not such an issue for them.

No need to preach to a polititian about "Games" since theirs is the dirtiest game in town.

True transparency is what's required in both insurance companies (aka Banks) and politics. The problem is that the serious players with the serious power don't want the 'erks' to know what they're up to.

    Dear Prime Minister

I understand that you are meeting the 'Insurance Companies ' today.
Please be careful because they will stab you in the back as well.

To check their integrity and honesty simply ask your own public funded
Office of Fair Trading, Ombudsman service, citizens advice etc etc.

These companies, many of whom hide behind household names
such as Marks and Spencer and your favourite company John Lewis,
formed, financed and prospered from these claims companies.

How many of these insurance companies and their broker friends are
privately owned companies ( with all the regulatory advantage of that ).

They have had it too good for too long !!!! They are only playing a game
with you today. They created the mess, what they need is strong and
positive regulation NOT BOWING DOWN TO THEIR BLEETING !!!!!.

Reportedly there are 1.5 million uninsured drivers 'out there', you keep
telling us that crime is going down, so apparently they are not
criminals. I agree.... they are simply people who have lost faith in
    the insurance companies.

THEY ARE THE NEW BANKERS SO BEWARE !!!!!!!!!
