    Hi

Unfortunately you are technically entering into a credit agreement so you wont be able to have direct debit facilities until you are 18.

You say your parents wont put you on their policy, but would they allow you to set up a direct debit from their account and pay this on a monthly basis to them?

Other than that there is no other method of obtaining payment facilities that I can think of until you are able to enter into a credit facility.

Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

im 17 and cannot afford the rediculous insurance to pay on a car all in one go, but i can afford to do it by direct debit. but ive been told time and time again by numerous representatives that i cant do that until im 18....

they suggested that i could be a named driver on my parents insurance and then pay them and the money comes out of their acocunt, but my parents will NOT do this at all.

there doesnt seem to be any way around this apart from paying the sum in one go....which will take me years to save up.

    advice?
