Anyone had any dealings with CSS Mobiles in Bradford, they have Google ads and appear on alot of different websites.

Anything to be said good or bad.

I havent heard of CSS mobiles. There doesnt seem to be anything on any of the other forums about this retailer - however exercise caution as a number of smaller retailers have gone to the wall recently owing thousands of cashback payments.

We have a new provider launching today on the moneysupermarket.com site who are offering a guaranteed cashback which is paid directly after only 21 days of connection - no complicated cashback redemptions or unfair terms. All they need is proof of address and one form filled in - they are called Affordable Mobiles and are worth a look. The cashback amounts advertised are smaller than other firms but this is because they will actually pay out the full amount advertised rather than offering massively over inflated deals which will never be paid

Be very carefull with this company. I took out a contract owing me £40 a month cashback for the whole of the contract and as of yet i aint received a penny! Excuses after excuses. Latest one, their computer systems crashed and they have lost all customers details! So fari am owed £240 and altogether they owe me £640. There is also a recent article in the Telegraph & Argus about them refering to a customer they have ripped of for a contract worth £80 a month! Many other complaints too and trading standards are also now on the case. KEEP AWAY!

Yes I've been with them for 6 months and they are terrible. It took 2 months to get my first cash back - they said they had paid me and I had to start sending bank statements to prove they hadn't.

I am unable to get my second cashback. They say I'm not on their system as it crashed and they lost all their customer details. Same old story as in February 07. Has anyone any suggestions as they owe me £275. I keep asking to speak to a manager but it's always the same story - he's not there at the moment but will ring you. I'm still waiting for the call.

Take my advice and avoid this company like the plague

CSS Mobiles deals are is the WORSE company i have seen. its been 5 months now and I have NOT yet received my 1st cash back... in the 1st month they said they had some system problems after 3 months requested me to send proof that i have send my 1st cash back claim and also demanded proof that i claimed my 1st cash back in time. After providing them all the proofs they required they replied that my cash is issued and will be in my account within 10-15 working days..its been 2 months now!! and NOTHING!!!!!

 I AM ON 18 MONTHS ORANGE CONTRACT WITH £40 PER MONTH!! WITH 16 MONTHS FREE through cash back i cannot efford this contract ..i only got the contract because i trusted css mobiles. .. i was their independent agent as well recommending others to get contract with CSS MOBILES so that i can get commission from them.. when my 1st cash back was delayed ...i had to contact all my friends and people i recommended NOT TO BUY ANY DEALS FROM THEM!!!!!!

i would rate the company

Reliable = 0/10 (extremely bad)

Trustworthy= 0/10 (extremely bad)

Overal Experience= 0/10 (extremely bad)

 CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW CAN I GET IN TOUCH WITH THE TRADING STANDARD

For the benefit of all consumers I would not let any company advertise on a site I owned that has any sort of track record that gets national coverage in regards to what can be deemed as fraud. All cash backs are cons, they are only honoured if not everyone claims them, in this case most people have, and it is this fact that causes these circumstances. There are enough posts on this site that reiterate the concerns raised. Why not advertise the fact that these problems arise instead of claiming an income through advertising and kick backs from these companies. I see it as a civil duty on my part once having owned a company and know exactly how the system works. I would be interested if  a company owner for once answered these posts to clear their names.......NO CHANCE!!!!

Hi all!

I feel ripped off as well. I'm in the process of suing this company and would be glad to help anyone else wanting to take the same route as me. 

My story is same as everybody else who has dealt with CSS Mobiles. I  have a 12 month contract with them starting from April '07 £80 a month and I haven't rec'd a single cashback payment from them.  Excuses after excuses and then finally I decided to take the matter further to the County Court.
