froger:Any other credit cards like these run by GE capital bank LTD ?

Why do you want more credit? If you have a bad history, then putting this much temptation in your way is not imho a good plan.  You dont want to bury yourself in debt.

Re: credit score = credit card?

thx for the advice, after i had seen this, i went to paypal and asda websites. Easy application, not much info was needed. I have a low credit score, and have moved house a few times over last 5 years. BUT wow i got both credit cards !!!! Did the application on line, and got accepted 24 hours later on e-mail.

paypal - got £3000 credit limit

     ASDA - £1000 credit limit

the APR is high, the max for both cards. 19.9% for paypal, and i think the same for ASDA.

Both cards are run by GE capital bank LTD. Application was the same for each card.

Any other credit cards like these run by GE capital bank LTD ?

    NICE ONE THX

Re: credit score = credit card?

Hi i know what u mean,

i have been out of work and move house that many times over years ,

i tried asda and paypal mastercards and have been able to get them. with £1500 and £500 credit limits. due to income.

well worth a try. if you have the income and have a credit card at present and a bank acccount . the longer you have a bank account better it goes for you.

this is for my own veiws not advisory.

    credit score = credit card?

Hi ALL im just after some advice...

had a Capitol 1 credit card 29.9apr credit limit 200pound  for last 12 months to improve credit history i used the full amount every month and made full payments every month previous to this my credit history was rubbish....more than a few  missed payment

last month applied for a egg credit card 0% bt for 12 months as i thought after 12 months my score will be decent and got declined - i ask them to review the decision they could not give me a valid reason or overturn the decision as their system said no i tried to explain to them my situation

i also contacted Experian who said that there was nothing wrong with my credit file and just to keep on doing what im doing?great help..

Just wanted to know what score do i need to get a decent credit card on BT's?( im not sure what my score is but i can get it.)

Which credit card companys are less strict in credit scoring rather than the BIG companys

and finally how long shall i wait to apply again? Thanks will appreciate all feedback
