Hey that seems very odd. They can be removed though so be sure and contact them.

Id be surprised if that didnt have an effect on your score, regardless of what the credit agency say.

Searches usually have an effect on yr credit score however even after 17 searches it doesnt seem to have made any difference. However I would contact your car finance company and ask them why there is that many searches being made.

Im just wondering.......i have looked on my credit report and there has been 17 yes 17 searches on my file in the past year!!!! i looked into it and it seems that 10 of these are from my car finance company. :( how annoying!!!

I've checked out my score and its 999/1000 so pretty good!!! but im wondering how much these searches will effect my chances of gaining credit if i needed it?
