    Re: credit history questions

On the contrary, it could probably improve their image of you and let lenders treat you more favourably. Lenders do not like to see multiple lines of unused credit availability, as they could take the view that you may increase the amount of borrowing, after they have made a loan.

They like to know you are not over-committed and are making payments as agreed responsibly, in full and on time.

    credit history questions

    HI Experts,

I applied for few credit cards last year(2007), vanquis capital one and barclaycard initial, after using them for almost an year, i closed all three accounts and applied for Halifax and HSBC, which i got.

Though i got both the cards [ and with pretty impressive credit limit] i am worrying that will my ghosts of past haunt me again, as in now that i have closed all my three previous cards, does it mean lenders willl probably think there is no money to be made out of me and hence not lend me anything ??

    can you please advise ?

    thanks,

    Learner
