That's not exactly what Experian would have told you. Are you saying that Experian report a poor "credit score", or something else?
Anyway the first thing to do is to stop applying until you have found a reason for being declined because every unsuccessful application makes the next one even less likely to be successful (though searches drop off after 12 months).
The second thing to do is to obtain your credit report and check it for accuracy. There are 3 Credit Reference Agencies but Experian should do for starters. The £2 statutory report is perfectly adequate. Use the so called "free" reports at your own risk.
