mum5:hi im new to this website .I was looking for advice on how to get help with my credit card bills. My husband had an accident a few years ago and we have to rely heavily on our credit cards to meet our general living expenses. We have about 13000 pounds outstanding on our cards we are living on his incapacity benefits and child tax credits whilst i can make the minimum payments every month of about 500 pounds the balances are not coming down due to the interest what can i do to help reduce this i dont think we would get aloan.

    hi mum5
what every you do dont get a loan.
write a letter to all the card company's and ask them to suspend the interest so you can reduce the card amount.
also have you thought about getting your card charges back? this site will help with that too.
let me know if you need any help with this i have already got back a lot of money from banks it really makes your day when you win.lol.
    you take care

    Re: credit card payments

Loans do not often solve financial problems. More often they just put off the problem to another day, as well as making the problem bigger.

If you stop spending on the credit cards, £500 should bring the balance down a little each month.
