Use the MS Smartsearch facility, which will allow you to search taking your financial history into account, thereby minimising the risk of being declined.

Credit card debts - advice needed please

Hi, I need some advice please.  I have credit card debts of £1900 on a Tesco card and £3500 on an Abbey card (a lot of which is stupidly cash withdrawals).  I am paying about £20 and £80 a month interest on these.  I applied for a Capital One card to take advantage of their 0% balance transfer deal but I was declined and they advised me to check my credit reports.  I did this and to me the reports look okay as I have never been behind with repayments for anything. I have a Together mortgage from Northern Rock and am 2 years into a 3 year fixed deal with balance of £51,300 on the mortgage part and £16,000 on the loan part.

I would like to get a loan to pay off the credit cards, maybe over 3 years but am I likely to be declined for one since I was declined a Capital One card?  Also, is this my best course of action?

     Help would be appreciated.  Thanks
