Okay, okay I know that some of you will read my story of woe and say "..idiot". But just to make sure that no one else falls for this I am prepared for the public humiliation....
I had a 12 month contract with Orage through CPW on cashback with production of 4th, 8th and 12th bill - last bill being June.
At the start of the month, got a call from "Orange" informing me as my contract was coming up for renewal, they could sort this out over the phone, new handset and cheaper package - no cashback - superb thought I. Within 24 hours my new phone had arrived, with... wait for it... a receipt from CPW (naughty naughty). They gave me an awful phone, but changed this no problem at my local CPW shop.
I have just received my June bill, and not only have they changed the package with immediate effect (before my contract was due to expire) but now my June bill is on a different tarriff to that of my cashback deal, and thus I am now unable to claim my £60 cashback!
Beware!
