    Hi

You'll need to declare to your insurer the amount of cover you'd need and the stock value and the nature of the stock.

The insurer may make an additional charge to you, or may require you/or the charity to take out a separate policy to cover the stock.

    Contents insurance + Charity's Library

We live in a council house. At present we lack contents insurance. I'm a member of a Registered Charity and will become the Charity's Honorary Librarian. The value of the Library stock is unknown, but I would think in the region of £2,000. I cannot afford expensive coverage as I'm receiving benefit. Will Insurance companies charge extra for the Library to be included in a basic content insurance? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.
