    Contacting Budget insurance

Has anyone got an email address for Budget insurance ?

I want to contact them to ensure that they do not try to renew my car insurance at the end of the month - I can save over £60 through Churchill

I cannot find a contact us link on their website

According to this old thread, apparently not, unless they have recently introduced one. !

    Re: Contacting Budget insurance

My 90 year old mother didn't cancel her buildings insurance with Budget.

They then sent letters to her to pay nearly £72 cancellation fee.

They then put it in the hands of a debt collection agency who were not very nice to her on the phone.

As she had been in hospital - heart attack - I have sent off a cheque to pay for it.

I would like to complain to somewhere - maybe the financial services authority they belong to.

Tesco don't send me food and ask me to phone 0870 and cancel it.

Why are these insurance companys allowed to do it.

One really has to watch the small print now.

I reckon you should be wary with Budget too. I made a point of selecting the option that my car policy would NOT be automatically be renewed but the renewal quote says that, if I do nothing, they'll go ahead and renew the policy. At least they sent me a renewal quote first though which is more than Hastings did before trying to renew their policy last year.
