    Could anyone recommend a discreet guarantor lender or an alternative means to pay these off in a similar time scale perhaps please?

    No. QuickQuid are a PayDay loans company that charge thousands of percent interest. If you cannot settle with them yourself then it is not fair to ask any friend or family member to settle for you.

    Unless you are able to pay off the payday loan either on the next pay day or the payday after, you should visit your local Citizens Advice Bureau and ask to speak to a debt adviser. There are various options that are available other than spending most of your working hours earing money for organisations like "quickquid".

    Consolidate?

    Hi,

    I have approx 8.5k debt. 2.5k is problematic debt, the other 6 is an ancient loan which i believe is now statute barred, just waiting on confirmation.

    The remaining 2.5k consists of;

    900 - HSBC Managed Loan
    1050 - Vanquis
    450 - Quick Quid

    I can afford £250 a month, but due to the high finance charges etc that i have become trapped with by quickquid i am making no progress really and it would take something like 4-5 years to pay off. I have a guarantor and want to consolidate these into a 2.5k loan and pay over 12 months instead.

    Could anyone recommend a discreet guarantor lender or an alternative means to pay these off in a similar time scale perhaps please?

    Cheers

    Dave
