Yeah, even i suggest you tell them you have found a better contract elsewhere. Those guys in retention offer some fantastic freebies just to retain a customer.

Rather than a gift, have you considered seeing if Orange will give you a better deal on your current contract? What I do with my mobile network is ring them every time my contract comes up for renewal and tell them I have found a better deal elsewhere/better phone. They put you through to a retentions unit who do their damn best to keep you as a customer, and try to offer you the best deal they possibly can. I currently have a contract for £15 a month, which give me unlimited texts, unlimited minutes to same network and 500 for elsewhere, and I have one of the newest Nokia smartphones (I don't like it, but I'm not paying much for it so I'm not bothered until the next renewal date!). It's always worth trying to stay with them as the longer you stay, the more the reward your loyalty. And if you don't ask you don't get!

    confused about smart phones

Hello. My contract is up with orange soon. I currently use a nokia 5800 express music phone. Although i've never used it to listen to music as i prefer the software for my ipod. I'm looking to finish my contract with orange and get a free gift. Whats the best free gift to get? And is it possible to get a smart phone with the gift without it costing more than 40 quid a month??!!
