Re: Click Mobile UK Ltd has gone bankrupt

    Vish,

I would write to the CEO and marketng manager. (addresses in thread above) Go straight to the top.

I believe my contract started in about April 2007.

I don't buy the "system won't accept a tariff' line, that's an out and out lie.. If you get to speak to someone again I would tell them that you know people who have had tarrif reductions in the exact same circustances as you, so the line they are giving is not true. Tell them you know they are making decisions on a case by case basis and want to know the reason why they will not give you a reduction given the fact they have given it to others.

Again, try and be as polite yet firm as you can.

Good luck, let us know what happens.

    Raj

I am in the same situation as you. I was offered a contract from orange with a free line from 3. Without the cash back im loosing over £1000 and as a student cannot afford to pay. Have you had any luck getting through to any of the 2 networks?

Also can anyone tell me how I can put my name forward to join the petition against this scam??

Re: Click Mobile UK Ltd has gone bankrupt

    Raj / Ragsta

I too followed raj's advice and wrote a nice letter looking for a 15 pound tariff outcome. I have so far had a couple of calls from them stating that the matter has been escalated to some other team who will look into the cash-back issue.

I have stated that all I really want is a tariff reduction, but they are unable to help me with that. They state that all contracts taken out after 1st March 2007 carry a 12 month minimum period before migrating tariff. Even though this is a special situation, the system would be unable to accept a tariff downgrade. Sounds like they are trying to fob me off.

Obviously its impossible to get thru to the glasgow call centre, and the indian call centre can only follow procedure!!!

When were your contracts taken out if you have managed successful downgrades?
