I have written a letter again to say I consider it a part payment only

In your shoes until I received some correspondence to say what the £350 was for, I would continue to ask for the full amount. It's not impossible that they will say "sorry, we made a mistake" and take the £350 back. Your claim will be easier if you use an account with another bank or building society.

Claiming bank charges from Lloyds TSB

    Hi,

I wrote to Lloyds last week to claim back my bank charges (£1186). Three days later, I checked my balance and it was £350. So I used my card as usual. Then, when I got home and checked my online statement, which I do about twice a week, I noticed lloyds customer service had paid in £350.

I have written a letter again to say I consider it a part payment only and will purse for the rest unless the settle at 80% of my charges claim (£948.80).

My question is, has anyone else had a payment made in to their account, before receiving a letter, and then gone on to successfully claim the rest of the charges?
