You need to call up your dealer where you got th phone from and ask them for the disconnection code or a deactivation code. how it works is once you cancel the line under 14 days the network gives the dealers a disconnection code. Once you get your hands on the code, call up Orange customer services and give that code to them asking not to bother you any more as legally you are not entitled to pay for the line rental if you havent used up any minutes.

    charges for none existent account

i received a nokia phone back in may it wasn't what i wanted, connect direct said it had bluetooth it would be blue and it was a brand new make, when it came it was in a battered dusty box the phone was black no bluetooth and had a rubber cover like the ones used in construction, i phoned the dealers they had a look at the phone recording of the salewesman and myself agreed i was misled i sent the phone back the same day at a cost of 4.75 which they said they would re-emburse, which they haven't, now i am getting threatening letters from orange saying i owe them 13.00 for line rental, i never even switched the phone on, now they have got a collection agency involved, who are ringing me at all times of the day, i have never signed any agreement with either company, where do i stand now? please help
