Thanks for your reply...I currently ( & for the next year or 2) visit vendors across Europe & access via their phone lines using the phone number given to me by Tiscali...
My concern was if I am on broadband at home would I stil be able to " Access" as I do now ( As you can see I am a simple Eng & self taught as far as It goes !!!!.

If you are near hotspots you can access via wireless using BTs pre-paid card system OR you can pay for a dial-in access number.

Just a small question here:

If you NEED access to e-mail away from home, how do you do it now? Pay-as-you-go is hardly a serious way to use IT.

As BT are closing "Pay as you go" I have to go to broadband.I travel away all week & need access to my email . Question (a) which would be best ..Stay with BT .
Question (b) how do I access when away from home base !!.
