    Re: CANCELLING WITHOUT FEES

    Dear KJD

I take note of your comments and see the link has been removed from my previous post.

Search in Google for - Gushussain11 Cisas -

You should find the the templates and Cisas response to the complaint I have issued for others.

Rather than persuading Orange to cancel without going through Cisas, please go through Cisas as this will help in identifying a issue at a larger scale and help to bring about a change.

Thank you and best of luck.

    Peaceful Regards

    Gus Hussain
    Peace

    Re: CANCELLING WITHOUT FEES

I've just tried cancelling my contract early with Orange and they won't let me do so without charging me a termination fee to do so. I will now search on the Cisas website to see if I can find the ruling to quote it to Orange, but they weren't having any of it.

    Thanks for the info. though.

    CANCELLING WITHOUT FEES

And if you cant get your cash back because the company becomes insolvent cancel your contract without having to pay a fee to the Service Provider.

Cisas has ruled that a customer would not have to pay the early termination fee on cancelling his contracts with the service provider. Please see here XXXXX Moderator - Web address to user forum removed, in line with MS terms of service.

    Peaceful Regards

    Gus

Re: Cashback companies - please help! Mobile Outlet

Hi. I am new to this so not sure how it works, but this is my experience. I had problems with Mobile Outlet (did not get any cash back) and took out a Small Claims Court application back in January. Surprise, surprise - they did not respond to the Claim. I have now taken it to the next stage and a Judgment has been entered ordering them to pay immediately. They have not done so and I am now left with the choice of dropping the claim or taking it to the stage of bailiffs to recover the money, which will cost me another £55, on top of £35 already paid to submit initial claim. This can be claimed back, but only if they pay up! I was on the Companies House website looking for their company details and found the page advising of the name change - it also says under Status "Active - proposal to strike off", which doesn't bode well either! When then doing a google search for Duck Suppers it brought me to moneysupermarket.com - and your comments! Not surprisingly there is no phone number coming up for the new company in Bristol. I have just spoken to the Courts and they cannot advise whether I need to start my claim again or carry on as is. My concern is that if I enforcement judgment the property at 3/4 Riverdale will be vacant and that will be a dead end. I always sent my claims in by recorded delivery and they have always been delivered. Will consider this evening what to do next.

Does anyone live near Shipley or Westbury-on-Trym who could check the addresses??!! Long shot I know.

Re: Cashback companies - please help!

I'm another Mobile Outlet victim. Bought 2 contracts from them. For the 1st contract, received the 1st cashback no problem with good communication. After I sent in the 2nd claim, they said they didn't receive the 7th bill. (People on another forum proved that they did this trick regularly) Unfortunately, I've already bought the 2nd contract. Since then I never receive any cashback! After many phone calls, emails and letters, I started to give up. Then I happen to see these posts sharing the same problem, I investigated more.

From Companies House record, the Mobile Outlet is proposing to strike off their name and change to DUCK SUPPERS LIMITED, see link http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/cafb8582ac25246b8a76d3a7f3e8ad97/compdetails And their Return has been overdue. That says something! Would the change of name affect our chances to win if we take this further to the small claim court?

Re: Cool new mobile/mobile affiliates - cash back claim disputes

I would be more than happy to join you to take them to small claims court - it has been 85 working days since my first cash back I have recieved nothing! They have changed all their numbers and their email contacts. I have also been in touch with WatchDog to get them to investigate the company. It is disgraceful. I am very angry at the way I and others have been treated.

Re: Cashback companies - please help! phoneboxdirect con artists

    I strongly agree.

I have only been with this company 5 months and i can't wait to cancel my contract with these theives.

I sent the necessary papers to PBD on the 24/09 to claim my 1st cash back they then sent me an E-mail on the 5/10 stating they recieved my letter and that they are dealing with my request. On the 13/10 they sent me another E-mail still stating they are assessing my cash back claim. On Friday 19/10 i recieved a letter dated on the 12/10 saying                  " Unfortunately we recieved your claim after the offer had closed and this has invalidated the claim". I straight away called them to find out more and spoke to a female called CHARLOTTE who said that i sent the wrong stetment (3rd statement instead of the 4th one) i explained to her that's not what your letter say and that's not the reason you gave me in your refusal letter i then sugested if i can send the right bill now she replied that is too late to get my cash back. I tried and tried to reason with her explaining that it was my 1st cash back request and that i might have made a mistake and what's the big deal if i send you the correct bill now but could not get anywhere with her. As i did not get a positive answer and felt being coned and that she was unhelpfull i asked her if i could speak to one of the managers she replied they are in a meeting ( Have you heard the last one ) and there is no one available to speak to me. I called again late afternoon but guess who answered the phone it was CHARLOTTE again i requested to speak to a supervisor again and again i got the told there is no one available. I then asked if i could leave my number for a manager to contact me when they have  time and to my astonishement she replied "NO, WE DON'T MAKE CALLS TO OUR CUSTOMERS" .That was the end of my 1st experience with PBD. Hopefully it will be the last.

Just to mention i reported this to my local trading standard.

If you are dealing with these bunch of crooks good luck everyone and count me in for any proceding against them.

     ALL THE BEST
