    It also depends on how long you have left on cover, if you dont have very long the premium isn't likely to change until renewal. If you have still got a while left on cover it does seem odd but they have told there is nothing to pay so i wouldn't worry, all calls should be recorded if a problem should come up!

    if you had made a claim for the peugeot as it was 3rd party they would not have to pay out for your car. heaven forbid that you make a claim for your new car but if you did they could say it would be uneconomical to repair and offer you scrap value and you will be lucky to receive half what you paid for it.

    i have a mreg peuogot thats worth £400. i insured it for £400 3rd party only. my cheapest quote was £715 per year.

    ive just bought a new car valued at £5295. i got a quote for fully comprehensive from my existing insurance company and their telling me my insurance will stay at the same price!!!!

    Im not complaing but why does this work out as i thought that my newer dearer car would have been alot dearer insurance.
