Re: Car insurance for person rather than car

Cetainly people in the motor trade have whats called "trade policies" where they can drive any car (for obvious reasons), these usually come with high premium and high excess. Your best bet is to ring some of the bigger insurance companies to find out what they offer (don't ring brokers, they are unlikely to be ably to help you).

Car insurance for person rather than car

    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to insure the person rather than the certain cars? A long story cut short, sadly my uncle has recently passed away and my cousin wants to drive the cars he had while everything is being sorted out. So my cousin now has access to 3 cars, 1 owned by his dads company, 1 owned by him, and 1 owned by his dad. Is it possible for him to find a policy that would insure him to drive any of these 3 cars, rather than getting a policy for each car?

Thanks for your help in advance.
