    Re: Car Insurance Cancelled

Reply to Endsleigh if they don't listen.

Or don't reply within a reasonable timespan a week and half?

Ask them if it is their final decision. (I think they normally have about 8 weeks to solve matter first.)

Contact FOS talk to them get advice, they will tell u proper way to handle the situation and deadlines.

Then Lodge a formal complaint through FOS.

If at first FOS rule against you, appeal.... Dont give up.

You obtained the insurance in good faith.

Some of my friends also have had similiar problems with this company,

Try to see if you can resolve this with Endsleigh by making a complaint if necessary. It would be worth involving the FOS as they may decide that this is unfair on you. This may take some time to resolve, but you don't have much choice and hopefully it will save you money.

When you contact Endsleigh threaten to involve the FOS, as if you go to the FOS, it will cost them a £500 case fee and you nothing. They may therefore remove any cancellation marker and send you a letter, advising that they accept the non disclosure to be inadvertent and should not affect future Insurance arrangements. That way, you have a letter which should help you negotiate better Insurance deals.

That is my take on it. See how it goes.

    Car Insurance Cancelled

    Hi guys,
About 3 months ago I had my car insurance cancelled with endsleigh. I used a comparison website and put that I hadn't been in an accident as when I first got the car I was driven into on a roundabout but was found out to be completely none fault and I didn't realise I needed to declare this. Stupid I know.
So now my insurance has been cancelled and I have to pay more for my insurance... Which i totally understand as I screwed up. But I would really like this not to affect the rest of my insurance polices (I'm only 23).

Any help of how I can get this removed would be fantastic!!
