Up until last September I had 9 years NCB not protected when I had a "my fault" accident and claimed and I now find that my insurers are going to put my NCB back to 2 years. Does any one know of any insurance companies that would be prepared to look at the track record....1 "my fault" accident ina 10 year period.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi, unfortunatly most insurers take NCB details from you last insurer and wont look beond that. You will probably find that you had a step back scale in the policy t&c's. most insurers reduce NCB from 5 yrs and in this case a fault claim will step back 3 yrs from 5! unfortunatly you are in the same boat as many others!
