They can still pursue you. If they've not followed the rules they just wouldn't be able to get a court order.

They ought to remove the report on your credit file. You should first ask the creditor and then the credit reference agency to do this.

i thought if they didnt provide the requested ca's within a set timescale then they had to stop persueing me and remove it from my credit file.

this all stems from a voluntary termination 4 years ago even though id payed half and gave the car back i still owe the remaining half!

What are you wanting them to do?

If you are wanting them to say "please don't pay", it's not going to happen. You have to wait for them to take you to court and then you put your case there.

    car finance help (hillesden securities)

hi after reading many posts on this site i requested copies of all agreements and details hillesden have about me and the car in question.

i wrote on two occasions and all i recieve is a letter each month (for the last 14 months!) saying they are following up my request, and my account is suspended awaiting requested documents.

am i now able to ask them to remove the details from my credit file as they have not provided the documents in good time?

how do i go about this and any other help would be great thanks
