Re: car allowance - getting a loan

Go to your bank and tell them this! Ask them what they have to offer! They asses you on your current spending and savings with them. They dont often use outside credit reports as they have their own scoring system on you. I have only made a few calls and all is organised in a flash. Lloyds Tsb is my bank. Hope this helps....

car allowance - getting a loan

    Hello,

Opted for a car allowance and for the last 18 months been hiring a car costing £420-£500 per month (high mileage). My credit rating with Experian is 467 (very poor) although I have all greens on my file! I think it may be because a dealership I approached applied to about 4 places for car credit (without my authorisation). Any advice on who I am best approaching for credit? Need about 23k and I can always prove my allowance as it's paid into a seperate account and is at least £600 per month.
