are you fully comp insured?

if so, call your insurance company, they'll save you trawling through your policy documents.

if not, you'll not have any cover I'm pretty certain.

I had a car accident Wednesday evening, where I hit some black ice, lost control and hit the driver next to me. The car I was driving is a write off.

My question is, although this is a claim against me, can I get any compensation from my own policy? I'm not just after the money, it is just a general question that I have been asked, and could come in useful with physio, etc?
