Hi Niaomi if it ake you feel any better I applied for the same card as well & was turned down only to be offered a card with 6 months 0% on purchases! I dont want to spend on the card!!

I have just been turned down for there platinum card with 0% for 12 months balance/puchases, want ever apply for any of there pathetic cards again. I have been offered from them 24% on balance transfer and purchases, I told them what they can do with it,and also to take me oftheir mailing list.

Capital One seem to have quite a few cards out on Money Supermarket, there seems to be a few threads with negative feedback, what do people think of them?

The flat rate 8.5% card seems to be quite good as does Barclaycard -

Any advice is welcome.
