    Does anyone know if I am allowed to claim the costs of improving my business as an allowable improvement cost for CGT purposes if I have already claimed it as a business expense for Income Tax? for example improving the business website

    Hi -- No, you have claimed it against income tax that is the right way to offset it, you can only claim it the once.
