    Hi

Here are a couple of useful links to government sites which should help you. The probate office can help with enquiries where a will has been left and the bonavacantia site provides information where no will was left.

I think you'll need to have professional advice for this.

Can I find out if Someone has left money in a will??

    Hi there,

This is my first post and I hope someone will be able to give me some advice.

My mother has recently heard that her sister and her may have been left some money when their biological father died in 2002. They were not on speaking terms for years and my mother and her sister were adopted when their mother remarried.

The biological father did not remarry or have anymore children.

If he left a will and they were named in it but could not be traced, would the money still be available after this length of time? If he died intestate would they automatically be entitled as next of kin to his estate?

I have tried hunting for documentation on the net, to no avail.

    Does anyone have any advice??

    Thanks
