Thanks for the warnings about internet usage guys.

I'll probably be on the web about 2 hours a day as I commute to and from work. Maybe check stuff on my lunchbreak.
Does this seem like sensible usage?

gia12:That's why I said 3 mobile and 02 as their unlimited means unlimited. The other networks say unlimited but are not.

I have an iPhone on the 3 network, with internet max - it's capped and I have to buy an add-on for £5 a month. If I dont the charges would be astronomical. I'm just saying - be careful - even with 3.

Check the 'unlimited' internet in the t&c's as, generally speaking, they aren't unlimited.

If you want to view emails, non-mobile sites etc, you'll quickly eat through your 'unlimited' allowance.

3 mobile have some good deals and their internet is unlimited but their reception for making calls is not great. also 02 have unlimited internet but they are quite expensive. those are the best 2 to go with if all you want is internet.

Check on each website dont go through Carphone Warehouse.

    Good luck.

    Buying first iPhone -help!

I'm looking to buy my first smartphone and have decided on an iPhone -because it's what everyone else has.

Wanted to ask what the best deals are before walking into a store and getting jumped on by hyperactive sales reps.
Mostly I just need internet on the go.

    Cheers
