    My apologies.

I am from Canada.  I live in Ottawa, and my parents are in Sudbury.  Both of which are in the province of Ontario.  It's about a 5 hour drive between eachother.

It's possible that some UK people have been to North America   and have an answer to the opening thread.

Forgive me if I am being stupid, but the only Ottawa I know of is in the States, and this is a UK forum.

Buying a car out of town & driving it back

Not sure if you can help. I am going home to visit my parents, out of town (Sudbury). I will be looking for a vehicle while there. I was wondering if there's a way if I find something, to drive it back to Ottawa? I don't currently have a car, so no insurrance. I have heard you can get insurrance to drive the car back (24 hour thing or what-not)... also someone mentionned the liscence plate itself needs to be attached, but because it's a weekend, I'm wonderin if there's a way I can get out of that too... Any advice?
