    buyacar.co.uk

    Hey Everyone!!!

I'm looking for a bit of advice.....I've been looking at a new Ford Fiesta 1.25 Style 3dr (climate) with buyacar.co.uk. I would be part exchanging my old 1.2 w reg corsa (54000 miles) for £1200.

I will be buying this car on finance and am looking into PCP which works out at £125 per month for 4 years, after which I would need to make a balloon payment or give the car back and get a new one.

Could anyone tell me if this seems ok? Also if they have any info about the company?

Please help as I am in serious danger of being impulsive here!!!!!!

    Ta

    Hiya.

Let me have a look at it tomorrow and I'll see what you should be able to get from a dealer...before racing into it...

Roughly speaking, Laulaup, you should be able to get a similar deal from a Ford Dealer. Having had a look, there are cars available (not many) and payments are similar (about 135ish) but over a shorter period. For the extra couple of quid a week, it might just be better to have a face to talk to and a door to knock on if any problems arise with your shiny new car.

Oh, and a dealer will register a new car in your name and forward the registration document within a week rather than pre-registering the car (meaning you don't see the logbook for 3 months - putting a question mark over your insurance).

For another couple of quid a week, you could be in a Zetec Climate with Alloys and a Spoiler etc... ;-)

    Re: buyacar.co.uk

be careful with motorpoint as they sell imported cars, different warranties etc, I would stay well clear and try and find a deal on a new/pre-reg car

    Re: buyacar.co.uk

I have recently bought a new Focus ST from buy a car. The deal was gonna save me around £2500 on the list price when compared to GK Ford.

One problem i did have was the £3300.00 was reduced to £2500.

If you are doing a Part-ex make take extra car filling in their report.

    Hi Laulaup,

I used to work for a car sales company and know that PCP's end up costing you more on intrest in the long term, the only reason salesman will dress PCP's up with bells and whistles is because they get paid more for selling this type of finance. If you need to finance a new car you are better looking for a peronal loan or checking what intrest rate this car company can offer on normal finance.
