    Hello foduk,

    Thank you for raising this point this sort of thing should be taken notice off and to that end it may be worth you asking in the general forum to, to see just how many people may be being charged unnecessarily?

    I would always recommend calling the supplier and hanging on as long as possible for an answer from the supplier as that is the first step with any issue.

    I would like to apologise for the sharp response drumster please do not take offence as all are welcome to the forum or to pose questions.

    What an offensive retard you are!

    I am aware of BT charges for cancelling a contract within 12 months. I have now spoken to BT - the charges are incorrect and will be dropped. My point was how many people have paid these charges when they shouldn't.

    1 No reply to emails and long queues on the telephone.

    2 You post on moneysupermarket COMMUNITIES AND FORUM - may get a right or wrong answer.

    3 Have you looked at your BT t&cs - allow me, as from you - look smart*rse I never had them/ the dog ate them etc so what now brain of Britain?

    4 I've just looked on the website - the answer is there - it takes about two minutes to find it - No reply to emails and long queues on the telephone.

    BT Exit Charges

    I decided to move away from BT to another exchang line supplier. My final bill from BT has an £18 Exchange Line Cancellation Fee. No reply to emails and long queues on the telephone. Has anyone else had similar charges?
