    Broardband were can l go.

Am at my wits end trying to find a decent broardband supplier. Thought l was signed up for talk talk but its not free in my area so my first bill including the £29.99 for modum would be £59.58 but was not told till l checked last night but was hanging on for 45 mins and listening to the shouting in the call centre, it was like  like 6 zoo's  the amount of noise plus couldn't understand me then put the phone down on me and that finally finished me of them , can anyone tell me of a decent price broardband supplier that is  not limited. Vodaphone seemed the best but not long bought a new mobile and l don't use it enough to go on a contract and thats part of there package.Vergin l would not touch as have had a lot of trouble with there mobile phones and then was sent a boquet of flowers, would have rather had better service.

Just gone through a nightmare changing gas and electric and its not done yet,l just do not were to go.

    Hi Jades,

I am with Tiscali, If the offer is still on, I pay 19.99, for the broadband, phone calls 01 and 02 numbers free everyday and night, and the phone line included. On this website, there have been complaints about this company, and sometimes broadband goes down. I only went with this company because this offer was cheap and I only get one bill, instead of previously being billed seperately for the broadband, phone calls, and phoneline. The only catch with this company, is there helplines are in India, and if have a problem with this company, and have to get intouch with them your charged for the phone call its not free.

Thats what l did at first and read the reviews of them all, l have come to think its swings and round abouts who you get as they all have dad bits about them, tiscarli is terible in this area and there is hardly a choice as its a cable area , l don't use it as tried when it was called ntl and got thrown off one night 46 times, will never forget it. It seems better down south but up here in the north east there doesn't seem to be much and what they have are awfull,

Re: Broardband were can l go.

    Hi Jades

Thanks for your post. OK so you live 631 meters from your exchange, this means you should be able to get good speeds, on an up to 8Mb product you're likely to get 4-6Mb.

There are no LLU operators in your exchange at the moment but you can get Virgin Media (aware that you don't want Virgin Media so they're ruled out).

You're basically looking for a good value broadband / phone deal with good customer service, I think some of these products might suit your needs:

Madasafish Max Talk Free - £14.99 a mth for up to 8Mb/5Gb broadband plus free off peak calls to landlines starting with 01 and 02, Madasafish have an excellent customer service record - plus if you apply for this product over the phone via an exclusive deal with moneysupermarket.com you get a free wireless modem worth £60 - Call 0845 373 1376 to get this amazing value deal.

Direct Save Telecom Option 4 - £16.95 a mth for up to 8Mb/unlimited broadband plus free UK landline calls anytime and no minimum contract.. This is a very good value product with decent customer service, be aware you need to pay £40 set up fee to get you started.

Eclipse Evolution Option 1 - £14.99 a mth for up to 8Mb/unlimited broadband - great value and good service - pay an extra £5.99 a month and get free UK landline calls as well.

    I hope this helps?

    Cheers

    Jason
