If you can't get freeview through an aerial, have a look at FreeSat - it's a similar service but through a satelite dish. A dish and decoder might cost £50 and they are not as easy as an aerial to fit yourself but there's no further cost (other than the TV licence).

For broadband, you either get a landline and pay the monthly charge for a minumum period or you use mobile broadband. It's worth looking to see which network has masts in the area on this site:

Most networks will let you have a single month of mobile broadband for around £15 and you can use it at home if it doesn't work well at the holiday home.

    Broadband package for holiday home

    Hi

I want to get Broad band in my holiday home in Suffolk. It is quite remote and I think I need to do it through my phone line therefore. I don't currently have a landline as I dont want to pay the rental charges when I am not there all that much. I also don't want a long term contract or high broadband tariff as i am not there very much - probably pay as you go would do. Thirdly, not sure if i can get freeview access so is my only way of getting digital TV through a TV/broadband package?
