Re: Best savings account for my 13 year old son

The Nationwide Smart account has always been my favourite. The rate is consistently high and the Nationwide have always been good to me as a customer.

Alternatively, the Yorkshire BS have a childrens account with an even better rate and they aren't too bad themselves.

Whichever you choose, make sure you complete an R85 form to get all the interest tax free.

    Hope this helps...

Best savings account for my 13 year old son

    Hello

Would like some advice on where my 13 year old son could put his savings. He has a lump sum of £400 and would be putting smaller amounts away throughout the year (Christmas and birthday times). There are so many different accounts and offers we want to try and get the best for him.

    Many thanks
