I can't see too many insurers being keen on this risk. An 18 year old newly qualified driver, occupation: Child Minder, needing business use and to whom will be carrying children. I certainly wouldn't underwrite this risk without a maximum premium and strict express conditions.

Alot of insurance companies at the moment are quoting based on the youngest driver anyway, so even if you are the main driver you'll probably be looking at a very high premium.

Do a simple search of "young driver" insurance and you'll find a number of posters have recommendations with regards to insuring a young driver. Apparently, Quinn Direct are quite competitive but I have no experience of them myself.
