Hi All

I would be interested to hear your recommendations for who I get to provide my electricity when I move to a newly built 1 bedroom apartment (1st floor).

No gas, everything is electric - i.e. heating, hot water, oven/hob

It will be just me, running a PC 24/7, plus general use - for example - hot water on timer for half hour in the morning, 37" LCD tv on evenings and weekends.

I certainly have. However, in general MSM assumes to are already paying a supplier and makes a comparison based on that. From the results it did show me, Scottish Power or Atlantic would be a good move.

I guess I'm after recommendations rather than rely on a comparison for which I have no existing data.

hi,markk. i would go on a comparison site type in atlantic as supplier bring up electric only and say it costs you £600 per annum, compare results.

Thanks for all your replies. British Gas come out on top in terms of cost, however, the reviews would say don't touch BG with a ten foot barge pole.

im with BG on all electric.. never had any problems.. theyve remained cheapest even with all recent price rises.. i wouldnt be supprised if the forums are fixed or written by other suppliers cos BG are by far biggest supplier with customer numbers growing if they were as bad as those forums say wouldnt there numbers be decreasing?.. who knows
