My partners been made redundant, and I'm not on a massive wage. He's going on job-seekers but they won't let him sign on for another two weeks despite being unemployed for a month. Nor will they backdate it even though he had his interview today.
Including the rent, bills and food my wage doesn't cover it all.
I wondered what could I claim benefit wise? Can you claim LHA towards rent should one of the persons on the Tenancy Agreement become unemployed? Or what about a reduction in council tax?
Anything will do... even a tenner a week.
