If the policy is for 'brand new customers only' then no, you will not be entitled to it as it is the same insured item!!

All these cashback deals are a waste of time anyway. It's a gimmick - and it works, sadly!! I can't see Barclays being the cheapest insurer for home and contents - not by a long shot!! Try calling a broker who has lots to look at - remember Barclays just look at one product.

Hi, i already have buildings and content cover from barclays and have just received my renewal documents. As i used there cashback scheme/pricematch last year this years quote is obviously much higher. when i did my search on this site barclays comes up as the best option with a much better price because of the £50 cashback through moneysupermarket.as it is a joint policy with my husband if i applied in his name would we be able to get the cashback price even though we were with barclays already?
