Im in the same situation, i sent my request for my £900 charges to be refunded on the 7th june, they (hsbc) did write back to me on 11th june to say they were investigating the matter, but i have heard nothing since. I think it now only leaves me the option of sending the 3rd letter (take to court) to see if they budge. I have been looking at todays news and it says that most banks ect are putting claims on hold at the moment while they are in discussions with oft, im not sure weather this will now delay applications already sent or future ones, I feel harrassment is my only final option

claiming back bank charges is a cat and mouse game, one judge favours the other rejects.

I hear their is a hearing coming soon which will decide if banks should pay out claims or not.

SO my advice is hold up fo a bit until this ruling.

hi i have been in the process of claiming money back from the bank but it is taking ages. i have written exactly the right letters etc and they have said they are looking into for the past month or so and then i recieve another letter saying the same but stateing that i could go to the finanical thing they suggest within the bank, bit like a judge but really informal so i done this 2-3 weeks ago and still nothing.

my m8 done his 2 weeks after mine and got an offer of £1200 with in a month and a half and i m still waiting for any offer. whats happening and what can i do about it?

i m also in debt of about £6000 with loans etc but i m in a debt managment programe with All clear finance but i seem to be getting no where fast. is there anything i can do about this to
