    Re: Bank Charges

The first priority is to make sure that they stop adding any more charges by bringing things to within their limits. If that involves talking honestly to them and using a personal loan to pay off the unauthorised overdraft, then that is what you should do.

Getting the bank charges back is not a quick process. It involves writing to say that you dispute the charges and taking legal action. The suggested process and a template letter is outlined here.

    Bank Charges

What is the current situation regarding bank charges, unfortunately last week I just didnt have enough money to cover my direct debits and have incurred nearly £200 in bank charges from Natwest, I have limited income and now will have to find another £200.

Can I do anything about this?
