    Re: BANK ACCOUNT

    Hi there,

There are a number of things you can do to improve your credit score without having to switch bank account - a couple of easy things to do are to get a mobile phone contract, make sure you're on the electoral roll. There are also credit builder cards designed to help build your credit score.

These cards and more credit building tips are in these articles (you'll have to copy the link and paste it into your browser's address bar)

    Hope that helps.

    BANK ACCOUNT

Hi all, i was discharged from bankruptcy approx 3.5 years ago. I have had a basic Natwest bank account since , but this is not doing anything to help my credit rating. The bank will not upgrade the account (i have asked for a better account without an overdraft facility) to help me. Is there a bank account on the market that will accept me with my poor credit rating and help me improve my credit rating (if thats possible yet) but without an overdraft? Many thanks if anyone can help me with this , Shamrock67
