I have heard very positive feedback about Tesco which is handled by RBS Insurance currently. My neighbour was very pleased with the service received when she had to make a claim. Beware that in a years time Tesco will be swapping their Insurance to Fortis, so this may or may not impact on service provided.
I have heard both negative and positive feedback on Esure. For some Esure have appeared to delay matters and for others they have dealt with claims quickly.
My only personal experience of claims has been with Direct Line also part of RBS Insurance, who handled the claims quickly without any hassle.
