If you are having problems keeping up the payments, you should first talk to the people that you owe money to. Borrowing from someone else to make your payments will make things worse in the long run. Also I suspect that the "companies" that you are looking at will be interested in making money from you rather than helping. You should talk to a debt councillor at your local Citizens Advice Bureau for impartial advice. £3000 is not a large sum in this day and age but it is something that you do need to deal with. At worst, if no other option presents itself, you can enter into an arrangement whereby you don't borrow any more and you pay off what you owe at £50 per month (or whatever it is decided that you can afford) over the next few years. You should visit your local CAB before taking any action along those lines.
You should avoid any scheme or organisation which offers you a quick and easy solution.
