I would kick off at the insurance company as they would of had to contact you about the incident. If no job go through their formal complaints procedure but dont hope for a quick resoloution

Advice needed for accident claim – URGENT

Around three weeks ago I was in Morrison's shopping and when I returned to my car there was someone waiting for me saying I had hit their car when parking mine. They showed me a bit of damage and said that they had witnesses. I was in a hurry as I had to collect my son so I swapped telephone numbers and told them to call me to sort out next steps. Like i've been told countless times I did not accept the blame for the accident.

I had heard nothing from the other driver since so I assumed that they had decided to either leave it or got it fixed on the cheap. Until I received my renewal quote from my insurance company today which shows a claim on my insurance for the accident. Meaning I have lost my no claims discount for next year.

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to sort this out? I can not afford to keep my car next year if I have zero years no claims as the premium is just too high. The 'damage' was a tiny scratch on the paintwork with a slight dent so I am quite gutted about the thought of this happening.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jon
