    Re: Address & credit searches

When a credit check is done then all the things you mentioned will be seen to be registered at a different address to where he stays, so this would be queried by any prospective lender. He will probably be asked to provide proof of address, so if he has a joint account registered at the home address as you say then he can provide this. ie statements

This shouldnt adversely affect his credit score in my opinion, although a recent change of address may.

    Address & credit searches

My other half is yet to change address details with his bank/credit/cards/mobile phone to our new address.

The only thing that relates him to our address is the joint account and he is on the electoral role there.

When credit checks are done would this be apparent and would it have a negative effect?

I personally think it would but would like to know for sure (before he applies for a loan!)

    Ta v much
