Just thought I'd test the water before.

Considering some people seemed to insinuate that I didn't know what I was talking about the other day when put a post up about this Isa, I think we should just see what the MS Forum cronies have to say.

I dared not mention the £50.00 for recommending someone the other day ..................!!!

It looks a very good rate to me and must be at the top end around. They are obviously using it as a loss leader to gain current account customers which also comes with conditions. On the ISa they guarantee to 1% above base until 04/08 which gives some comfort for the short term. You can always swap after that if they drop back.

If you are happy to swap to their current account which pays a good rate as well,it seems a good deal to me,especially with the £50 freebies. What do you think Gustav?

    A&L £50 giveaways.....

my first post -hope it makes sense......

we ahve just opened A&L ISA @ 8.1.....

we both recommended each other to open their 'premier' a/c  (@4.80) and got £50 each....

i also recommended my son and i will receive an additional £50....he will get 50 Plus £50 for recommending his  partner...

The required A/C to open with the ISA pays 1.50 but as you open a/c set up for the required £500 to be transfered into ...whereevr....high rate whever or pay bills etc  the following day..make sure it is the following day at least to avoid ...transferring' problems

    bye m
